Our Program

The Greater Washington Urban League Entrepreneurship Center offers a robust combination of entrepreneurial management skills development, small business technical assistance, and business coaching/mentoring to meet your specific needs. Our goal is to help you take advantage of new business opportunities and qualify for financing that will grow your company. As a participant in this program, you will receive one-on-one counseling and group management training designed to increase your business acumen necessary to operate a profitable business and create jobs in the community.

Whether you are thinking about developing your business idea or currently operating a business, our program offers free assistance to help you reach your goals. The flexibility of our program enables us to meet you wherever you are in the development of your business.

The Entrepreneurship Center Program: A National Initiative

A signature program of the National Urban League, the Entrepreneurship Centers provide management counseling, mentoring and training services geared toward the development of management skills enabling minority entrepreneurs to obtain financing and/or contracts that support job creation and preservation. The Entrepreneurship Centers’ goals are that minority entrepreneurs experience increased competitiveness and profitability, start up more businesses with higher survival rates, and break out to new markets with higher growth.
