Cathy House

Cathy House has over 20 years of experience as a seasoned entrepreneur. Along with being a business consultant, she and her husband own and operate an international marketing and distribution business. For the past 10 year, Cathy has taught business topics at both Strayer University, Howard University, and the University of the District of Columbia in Washington D.C. Through Strayer University, she has taught Principles of Management and Introduction to Business; instruction at Howard University School of Business in Career Counseling (focusing on Non-Traditional Careers, inclusive of Entrepreneurship), as well as Introduction to Entrepreneurship, Entrepreneurial Marketing, International Entrepreneurship, Management of Small Business and Planning the Entrepreneurial Venture (an online course to undergraduate and graduate students who were business and non-business majors, as a part of Howard University’s Institute for Entrepreneurship, Leadership, and Innovation (ELI); and Sustainability Entrepreneurship at the University of the District of Columbia. Cathy views teaching as her way of giving back to the community and making a difference in other’s lives.
